Pete's got a lap top now and is posting when he feels like it over in the 3%ers thread.
hey everyone. I am still in the bed, so it is hard to see the key board... but, I wanted to say hello and thanks for all the effort y'all are puttin' forth to raise money. The bill from the ER/OR in TN is $97k. The Ti plate they used to hold my back together was over $10k!! I miss being a part of everything. I am about ready to see some folks... but, not a bunch at once and not for too long. I stay tired and in pain. If you want to come by, please call my cell first. I have to do therapy x-rays ultra-sounds and all sorts of crap and I need to be ready. I'll post again soon.
I'll keep ya'll posted.

Hang in there Pete! Your in a great place, as you probably know. Do you know your techs and nurses by name yet? If you see Helaine, Terri, Charlie, Mike, Cannon...etc, tell them I said "hey". Most of them know me, but don't believe what they say about me!  |

I just got back from seein' Pete.
One of the staff asked Pete what kind of bike he had. After he said Buell, they said, we had another guy that rode a Buell. Pete says, Ted K? They said yeah, how do you know him? Pete says we're a tight community, we are aren't we!
When are you plannin' on comin' down? |

Honu thanks for posting the pictures.I look a bit ruff it got so hot.The shirt a bit to long makes my legs look like stumps.HA!!!HA!!!Hope all is well.Hey Paulinoz hope all is well down under.I really enjoyed meeting you,craig and a lot of other people with Brag.Hope this next year flies buy so we can meet back at the Ridge Run and pick up were we left off.I'm buy lunch for us at the pizza ria or what ever its called and a couple rounds of frosted cold beer!!! |

Sorry your belt broke !! I think it's "Flipnip"I don't use it much. If you click on my name Shred on any board it will go to my profile at the bottom you can click on to private mess.It's really good to here from you sorry your trip ended early.How many miles on the bike?Did something get in your sprocket look for chipped teeth!!! Did you get your tire change?If the belt ever binds it will cause it to snap!!! Glitch had that happen. Good to see you posting ride safe!!!! |

Thanks for the donation. We are having an auction at the Vortex on Thursday the 14th. We have items ranging from knives, Budweiser Mini-Fridge, snowboards, neon signs, etc. Hope to see some of you down there.

As most of you know 2 members of the 3% Brag chapter in Atlanta were injured at the Brag Blue Ridge ride a couple weeks ago. There is going to be an auction at the Vortex in Atlanta on 10/14 to help with the related costs the 2 riders are incurring. I had offered an item for the auction but because it was Buell related and rare it was thought that ebay would be a better place to auction it….
All the proceeds from the sale of this poster will go to the fund that has
been set up for Torque (Pete) & Shred (Mike).
This is a rare & unique poster of a 1996 Buell S2t with the one year only Quicksilver metallic paint and it has been signed by the man himself; Erik Buell. I guarantee the autograph. Erik signed it for me when he visited Atlanta in 1997.
All the proceeds from the sale of this poster will go to two friends that have been injured in recent motorcycle accidents.
Please help us offset the medical and personal expenses by bidding on this unique item…
