OK
That is for a S2 if the real part number is 45118-94Y the part number 45118-94YA is not a valid part number.
BUT
45118-94Y was Superceded to H0130.8A which was the rotor and carrier which could be the rotor you have and be diffrent than 45118-94Y
BUT
Again H0130.8A was Superceded yet again to H0130.9B, that is another rotor and carrier assembly, which could be the one you have and explain why 45118-94Y doesn't fit.

What spidey is saying is that could be a correct rotor, but the carrier it is suppossed to be with doesn't match what Careyj has.

My original rotor is around 13"o.d. and the above is 12 9/16" o.d. Every S2 I've seen have a rotor like the one on my bike and not the one above.

And again the part number on that part does not exist.

There is no such thing as a 45118-94YA

Where did you get this?

A dealer in Michigan somewhere
When I ordered the part I ordered P/N 45118-94Y and they sent the one above(45118-94YA).

I would think an RS/RSS part would end in an earlier # than 94 since the last 2? were made in 93.

But send it to me and I'll see if it fits ; )

If it was a RSS or RS part it wouldn't have the HD part number structure.
#####-## Buell specific parts with the H-D structure are ######-##Y and the old Buell system which they are starting to merge back too is H0130.8A
Whom ever labled that part was off waaayyyy off.

It is an EARLY 1995 S2 disc it used a different carrier.. The disc mounted to the side of the carrier not inline with the carrier... Mounting hardware that held the disc to the carrier was also different.. Part number is correct...

That is accurate information.

For a complete detail chapter 2 of service manual 99489-95Y (the obsoleted GREEN one) just before it was replaced (about the same time the rotor was) with the blue catalog 99489-96Y.

Course, I could be wrong....

All that guy's auctions are PrivateBidder protected. Can't tell who's bidding. Why do people use that feature for stuff like this? Oh well, checking the budget and possibly diving in blind for a few things.

Carey
When I started thinking about the size dimension you mentioned I went out to the garage and started measuring discs, then I went to the info I have on the RS & RSS models... S2 and later models are listed as 340 mm which is a about 13 5/16 inches (which is the size of all the later tubers).. The RS & RSS are listed as 320 mm which is as you found out 12 9/16 inch... Yes that is a RS & RSS front brake disc the RS & RSS parts books list the part number H0201.5QQ for the left hand disc and on the RS 4 speed H0201.3 for the right hand disc... The disc looks very much like the one on the early S2 but the size as you found out is different by 20 mm..

My S2 is reasonably early, I'll measure the front disk diameter tonight and post the measurement tomorrow.

Measured my VIN #197 front rotor and it is the 340mm diameter one that bolts to the outside edge of the carrier. Just as a point of reference.
