I got some pictures,

Grumpy,
I'd have that in a second if it wasn't in California................

The little guy in the Gap Hoodie is Morgan who is 5 and the little guy behind him is Riley who is 6, my two youngest boys.

I think out of all those I would take the cobra (duh...) or the Supra.

For me it's got to be the original Mini, I know how to make those things fly, & they'll out-corner just about anything,

Nice pix Bill, give me a bit of warning & we'll have a crack at it next year,
and for the Saab in cali, leave it at Ferris house and drive it home next year after Laguna Seca, you can start a new thread "Coast to coast, coasting in a Saab"

I'd probably take the XK150 just so's I didn't have to choose the Seven or the Cobra rep's.

Buy that lovely 96 someone. Their potential is fabulously unknown amongst non Saab people. They are quite simply one of the most innovative cars ever built. A joy to own and drive, and I've sold everyone I've owned including my 1977 25th Anniversary model. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I'll join you on the 'coast to coast' Grump's. That is the perfect car for the journey.

Remind me to tell you about Eric Carlsson taking one on the Baja 500 and getting laughed at - for awhile.

Very serious, I kid you not!

Erik Carlsson is a rallying legend and he honed his career in Saab 96's starting with the 2 stroke powered versions of the 50's.

Those cars were known as the 'giant killers' because they beat everything.

Ever heard of the 'Monster'? It now resides in the Saab Museum in Sweden. A 96 fitted with two three cylinder two-stroke motors side by side across the front of the car. Nothing could touch it.

You know of the Sonnet models? Nearly all made it to your side. They're a 96 with a plastic body on top of the 96's steel floor pan.

That Cali 96 is a 'bull nose' pre-rubber bumper model, hence desirable. If it's not a rot box it wants buying and running.

Court Grump's? Ah yes, remind me to tell you, he's another BadWeB Saab owner

Is this going to become a necessary qualification? you gotta have a Saab to be on BadWeb? perhaps it could be a new sales gimmick, a second-hand Saab free with every new Buell,
I'd love to deliver that 96 to Newfie with you but I'd have to find a way of making a bob on the trip to justify it to the wife.
