A few years ago, I loaned my S3 to Two Brothers for a few weeks so that they could adapt the pipe that existed for the pre-99 Buells to the 99+ tubers. My S3 had a V&H on it at the time. They gave me a free titanium can for the use of my bike, which has been on Reindogs bike ever since. It's a nice sounding pipe, a little mellower sounding but not necessarily quieter than the V&H. I had my doubts about the robustness of the mounts, but they have proven durable on Reindog's bike, no issues whatsoever in about 10,000 miles. Seems to hold it's packing a bit better than V&H's do too. The dyno plots of the 2-Bros and the V&H were almost exactly the same. Not too surprising, the dimensions are virtually identical. However, the 2-bros has a small taper into the pipe inlet stub that the V&H doesn't have. Doesn't seem to have any noticeable effect on power, however. I can get one for you if you wish, American Sport Bike is a 2-Brothers dealer but we haven't moved much of their stuff yet. They don't have any plans for any new XB Buell stuff unfortunately. Their clip-ons rock, though. I'm planning on putting some on my S1W (with S2 forks) when I get a chance. Al |

just out of curious...are the slip-ons available for the Tubers too long for the XB platform? I am wondering if its possible to adapt one of the tuber slip-ons for use on an XB...just bench thinking again. |

wyckedflesh i actually dont think it would work because one of my buddys cracked his pipe on his xb and tryed to use one from a x1 and it wouldnt work it would be cocked to much to a angle and the brackets wouldnt work. |

Just wondered if it might be another option for some of the XB riders with the abundance of slip-ons for Tubers that have shown up recently. |
