well this sucks sorta,..I stumbled upon my dream home today, it is situated on the white river, it has a guest cabin and a dock. It is all ceadar wood and looks like a mountain home on the inside, you know rafters and all.

It is way secluded and just peaceful.

the thruxton need to go for part of the down payment. if you or anyone you know is interested.

it has 3k miles and the D&D exhaust and I still have the stock exhaust. It is only 3 months old so needless to say its in perfect condition.

I can deliver with in 250 to 300 miles from bloomington Indiana.

List was $7995 I am asking $6000

heres a link to pics

What's the flood level there? Any risk of it coming up to the house? Reason I ask, when I was on recruiting duty I had this one kid that lived on the creek. There house was up a hill, sorta like that, about 150' above the normal water line. The creek flooded one day and still came up to the house.

Sorry if that throws a damper in there, just wouldn't want your dream to wash away. Just from the pictures, I'd get it. My four boys could share a room. : )

yeah she is kinda cute, but no...and no I am not working with her...ding dang it.

the water line is about 150' at about a 30 degree angle....I only am guessing but it felt the same as walking up the banks at daytona.

but you never know...thats the risk...but its been a long while since that has happened in that area

ok groovy house brian. but dont sell the bike man
what are you nuts? you can build a house any time you want to. now if you had 4 or 5 bikes, i could see trimming the fleet, but not the thruxton, that has to be a keeper. ahh well, good luck man. later, dean

I can also buy a bike when ever, that is much easier....but if you want to start a collection for the fat man...I need $8000.....I'll keep the bike and ride merrily along......

$89,900? I have to move to Indiana! Here in Minnesota even in a remote location it would be close to $200,000. Maybe over $200,000.

Nice place! Hope you get it!

Nice place, Bubba. Wanna trade? Morgan would love staying in the guest house. (I don't know about up there in Indiana, but if that house were by a slow stream in NC, I'd invest in a few cases of "Deep Woods Off".)

Soooooo..... Does that mean you won't be coming down to Boone in Sept if you sell your bike? You'll be bikeless, right? Borrow one!!

While driving by the Triumph dealer yesterday I thought of you and stopped in to sit on a Thruxton. Schweet!

Bubba...why do you need a down payment? You can get 100% financing now. (Of course on approved credit...)If your credit score is strong enough you can do an 80/20 type combo loan. You'll only need to come up with the closing costs. Then maybe you can work something out with the seller and have them split the costs with ya. Then your total out of pocket expense will be minimal. Talk to your loan officer about it.....

Brian, I hope you are able to "have your cake and eat it too..." I'm really enjoying my Thruxton, just got the TORs (sound sweet), and would hate to give it up for any reason. Here's hoping you can get your new home AND keep the bike.

Nice gaff Bubba, One thing to remember in the calculations, The house will increase in value (if you look after it) but the bike will only depreciate for the forseeable future.
A friend of mine here in France was faced with the same problem & sold his beloved Harley, he then picked up a rough old BMW R90S & did a cafe racer job on it, It looks & sound great (reverse cone megaphone pipes)& was cheap to do plus there's a lot of tuning gear still available.
just my 10cents worth,
