Fosters The Aussie Beer drunk the world over except down here.

"Yeah... too light and weak... might as well be Coors."

The last time I drank Fosters was at the 2000 homecoming and I still got the taste in my mouth.

Life is to short to drink bad beer.

Dyna, I hope the details you give later are good news. I'd love to meet R1X1Dyna at the RtR. I know you probably wouldn't trust the bike that far from home, so just trailer them all down. You can stay with me and Darthane at Château Hare.

If they did fix it, I'd let someone you don't like start it up. I've seen Casino and The Godfather.. vehicles tend to blow up all by themselves! Maybe 420 can come by and fire it up for ya!

Go for it Crusty...HDI loves to get their ideas from the custom builders. Even a few of examples of that in both HD and BMC's line up. LOL

Dyna, saw you finally changed your profile. Damn, about time. : ) Or am I just slow?

Don't forget to let us know what's going on with the X-1.

I would have sworn I had looked at your profile since then and hadn't seen any changes. I'd check it once in a while to go over the X1 info.

Yeah, we're all curious to see what happens with the X1. I'll be keeping my eyes and ears out for the news of an explosion up your way. : ) Do you know if they're giving it back to you in one piece, or a box, disassembled. : )

Hope it works out. The local HD shop has, or had an X1 sitting in their shop on consignment, same one I came close to getting last year. If I had the money I'd look into getting that thing. Oh well, hope your's turns out okay.

I think Dyna got it back so he can test the Revo engine retrofit kit for tubers to be offered soon by the mothership. What better person to test it? And he can give reports as needed being in the neighborhood of the factories....

I have a feeling he'll use the full week,

Hey, all I said was I was getting it back. Never said it was going to be running or anything. I actually forgot what it looks like. If my truck is done I will pick it up tonight...or tomorrow...or wednesday. No hurry, just going to sit & rot at my house till November. Maybe parting it out after then. Lots of nice aftermarket goodies too

You know, Dyna; if you took the bunged up motor and shipped it to Aaron, or Wes and Pammy, then you'd get back a RELIABLE engine that would put a smile on your face that wouldn't wear off. (Plus, they stand behind their work) And you'd rediscover why the rest of us are such hard core Buell lovers.

Crusty...I dont know, coming off 150+ rwhp just about anything might be anti-climatic. Although I did enjoy the down low torque of my X1.

Never know whats going to happen, wait till November & we'll see.

I wouldn't mind having the best of both worlds.
I like hearing you've got aftermarket plans, means you still like the bike even if the warm and fuzzies for the company are gone away.

Thanks for putting words in my mouth, but like I said you never know. The wife & I have discussed the possibility of an 88" S&S motor going into the X1.

It's true that the XB's dont do much for me, just dont care for the looks of em that much. Prefer the raw & rough looks of the tube framers.

PS..I dont give 2 5hits about HD either yet I continue to ride the Dyna around. Dont have to like the company to own & ride one of its products.
