Dana & his Brother held a bike show at his bar The Boiler Room today. The crowd was actually pretty damn big, lot bigger than most of us expected. Fantastic turnout & decent weather.

View from the east end of the lot

Professional photographers were on hand to take pics of you & your bike along with some hottie models if you so chose do so.

Nice clean chopper

Unique headlight setup

6 professional builders were on hand displaying a bike to be judged..sorry but I dont know who they all were & I didnt write down the info but here's one of the bikes.

I know this one is from Milwaukee Bike Works.

Dont recall the shop..sorry

This one was wild, couldnt have held more than 1 gallon of gas tho

Jockey shift was clean & well done.

This is by Lil Scotties

Gotta get me one of these velocity stacks for the Dyna

The paint color on this bike & the next one were outstanding

Ran into Coolice's bike while checking out the bikes

Then ran into Nancy & Coolice

Naughty was there.......I think she may have something going on with the mananger: D

Jason was hanging out with the family.

Dont know who the guy is, but that was one of the models they had posing with bikes.

This model was my favorite

Another view of the crowd

Broadway Bob was there, if you know anything at all about drag racing in the midwest from years back then you will know who he is. The former owner & promoter of Great Lakes Dragaway. Used to ride on top of the Green Mamba jet car as it idled down the track while drinking his trademarked Old Style.

Dana's bike getting photoed with the models

Gotta love the 6" plastic heels on one of the models

And thats all I took, damn memory card was filled & I didnt bring a spare. Also ran into CJ & Grape, RacerX1, supposedly Newguy was there but missed him.

Naughty, you said it, the turn out was great!! Im sure Dana & his brother were shocked by just how many folks turned up. 98% HD riders but what the heck. I saw a few Buells, 3 Gixxer 1000's my R1, couple VTX's, Viragos, etc. Rest were all HD's or clone bikes. Pretty well behaved crowd also. All in all for a first time event I would say it was an A+ effort.

And Jason I already got in touch with Fontana Village for group rates and dates for a trip to the Dragon next year. ANYONE interested let me know. I don't care what ya ride as long as you ride.

Wow....Fantastic turnout!!! Wish I could have made it, but I ended up having to play "LawnBoy" and amused both the Martini Lady and Moo Moo Momma during my breaks.

NN...You are a truly remarkable Wife to pick out such nice Bling Bling for Dana's Bike. Now, curiosity is killing me, did you get the Chippendale's Boyz (or the Racine equivalent) to pose with yours?

Wow,

Only one night myself and my older two boys, Connor (8) and Riley (6) were watching Discovery where Indian Larry and Paul Yaffe had the bike build off for Daytona. Riley really liked Indian Larry's Old School Chopper compated to Yaffe's which Connor liked.

A shame indeed!!!!!

Looks like you had a great time, I would love to get back up that way again next summer for a trip.

Are you stocking Newfie Screech in that bar yet???

UNTIL,

Your wonderful US Govt. decided that it was a BIO-Terrorism Agent and you should see the red tape I have to go through.

I am thinking of a way to do this so email me an address.

Dana....Looks like you had a great turnout. I wish I could have been there but the wife had other plans.

Yeah...where did you hear the Indian Larry news? I've done a couple of net search but haven't seen that anywhere. Just curious.

BTW... I gave your number to a local chopper builder. This guy is interested in competing next time. He builds some AWESOME single swingarm choppers.

Yep, I was checking out a few fan sites. Here's a message from one

was at the Cabarrus County Arena Sat. Aug 28 th...Indian Larry did a ride thru a wall of burning cardboard while pulling a guy on his stomach...Then he rode his chopper back & forth about three times, the last time he was standing up on the seat, and the bike sounded like it was out of tune....any way as it slowed down he lost his balance and fell to the ground, hitting his head on the asphalt, we all waited fro a helecopter to come....he was being treated by EMS, in the meantime...later that day
Hugh the producer of the Discovery Channel biker build offs, told us that Larry was only knocke dout for about 4 minutes..... we didn't hear any more about it.....all of the internet are crazy stories....
I tried to look up any info, in our local NC newspaper but no luck...he may have been flown back to Brooklyn NY by now I just don't know....if any one has any real info please pos

Dennis, only saw one single sided swingarm bike there & it was ridden in by someone. RC components setup. Pretty slick setup.

Indian Larry passed away late last night from head injuries.

This is from an undisputable source.
