after months of coaxing, I finally convinced BrentX1 to join our trailer crew. While "puttin" round downtown he received high complements on his ride from the likes of Paul Yaffe, Mr. Ness, and special props from Willie G. himself as he presented Brent his 1st place trophy and prize money for best Buell in Rapid City at the all Harley bike show!!! Great job keeping her running all week too!! Congrats, bro!

Thanks Again, Twodogs. I really had a great time.
Yea, I still have that Terd.
The competition was fierce, the judging was done by Harley Design Engineers, not the customary spectator vote. There were numerous bikes there that I thought were better than mine. Custom paint and chrome weren't the deciding factors. Custom 1 off parts made all the difference. Twodogs took second place and it was close between us.
I met with Willie G. and was amazed by the comments he had made to me about my bike. He really has an eye for detail. He told me the obligatory comment that "That is the nicest looking Buell I have ever seen"(as I pat myself on the back)
Meeting Paul Yaffe and Arlen Ness were the highlite of the whole experience. Usually these guys wouldn't go out of their way to talk with us Buell guys, but both of them did. 2 of the nicest guys I've ever met. We talked Buell's for quite some time. I also got the opportunity to meet the guy from Exile Bikes, but I can't remember his name. All in all it was a great experience, not to mention the awsome roads out there once you got away from the parade lap of Cruisers.
