Why is it that I cannot remember ever seeing a T.V. commercial for any brand motorcycle on a major network? I have seen ads on Speed channel on sunday races, but none on a major network. Now that I have asked, I must leave you folks for some sleep. The twelve hour work nights this weekend have taken there toll. Please forgive me for asking if this question has been beaten to death already. Oh, and leave a link so I can catch up. I've seen the Nicky Haden ad on NBC during Nascar and the Harley Dinet set ad as well. Suzuki is running ads for their new (Vulcan clone)line of cruisers. I've seen ads for the ZX-10. That Nicky Hayden/Honda one gets played a lot. I'm back, and I have also remembered now that I have seen some ads but they were not national ads. All the ads I have seen have been with the local shop paying to run the ad tagging there name to it at the end. What I also remember about them is that they advertise all of the products produced by say Honda or Yamaha. I guess my point was that I haven't seen an ad for just motorcycles outside the world of cable T.V. The only ad I remember with a HD in it was a national ad for an insurance company. Oh well, its just my mindless ramblings after a sleep deprived weekend.   Bluelightning Posted on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 - 11:40 am:        I'm over here in Northern VA (right next to D.C.) so it must be a political thing that they don't show too many bike commercials on regular TV (not the cable channels).
