Just got in from a great day at "Thunder Valley"-Peoria TT. Awesome weather, good roads, lots of bikes, AND RACING!! Fiery and I joined some locals from town for the ride down. Walked around the track during practice checking out the views, spent most of the time outside turn one and two. We saw the Buell Blast-(harley as the announcer corrected me on the PA) dirt tracker #80 in practice only. He changed to the other (harley) Rotax powered bike to qualify, should have stayed on the Buell as he showed Fiery and I a GREAT save out of turn 2. Ya gotta watch it on tv when it airs, it was great, but he injured himself doin the save and didn't race. Fun ride home usin GPS, took a round a bout way but hey it's ridin the Buell! Bomber WHERE were YOU!! Saw a few Buells in the parking area and got a lot of looks at them "fast harley" sportbikes(Buells)! |

Ice -- despite my efforts, Miami of Ohio refused to re-schedule move-in day around the TTs (idiots!) glad you had a good time -- Thunder in the valley is the best show in motorsport, as far as I'm concerned! |

Coolice, Sorry our group of 5 missed you, but we decided to hit the road out of Morris at 8:30am to avoid traffic and take advantage of perfect riding conditions through backroads, Rt71 and Rt26. Damn great riding day! First time I ever attended Peoria TT and was impressed. Good turnout, great racing and event. |
