Riding home from work the other night I hit a sharp edged bump and sheared off the two front mounting bolts that connect the front motor mount to the head on my 96 S2T!

The previous owner put on the Thunderstorm heads and reinstalled the bolts without Locktite. I think they may have loosened and finally gave way.

Anyway, I reinstalled new bolts, however, now I'm feeling some different vibes. Very slight...someone else probably wouldn't notice a thing but it just doesn't "feel" right to me now.

Can you tell visually if the rear swingarm isolators have torn from the engine twisting in the frame?

What else do you think it may be?

Thanks,
Dana-C

Dana, the rear isolators should look similar from one side to the other, with no cracks, chunks, etc. And should not be sitting on frame. It's very easy to pull off that side plate and look right at the isolator--gotta love S-2's--a little liquid wrench and tap the head with a brass drift to loosen corrosion/dirt,etc and out they come.
