Ordered 6 rears and 4 fronts yesterday.
Anyone need a set?
Front stands are the ones that go into the bottom of the triple tree.
Rear stands are the wider model to better fit the XB.
Front stands, including pin 149.00
Rear stands 129.00

Stands will be here in a few days.

I know the answer but I'll ask anyway, with the front ones fit an S2?

YES! I would just need to get a different front pin for you.
Want a set?
I can call and get the right pin coming with them if you hurry!

I always heard PitBulls wouldn't work on S2 due to 1) the pin diameter, and 2) the fairing interference (or something like that). How many different pins are available? Might be handy to just get a whole set with the stand, then I'd be ready to lift the S2, the M2, and the indirect relative's Triumphs and Yamahas and Hondas.

If you can come up with a package price I'll run it past the budgetary review and see if it will work.
=====
I just checked their web site and they still state it does not fit the Buell S2's. Bummer. Oh well.

Not sure if the fork lift version would work on the S2. Does anyone know for certain? I misplaced my service manual and had to remove the rear wheel by trial and error method (got it off eventually, probably not by the recommended method though).

Even if it would, doesn't that kind of negate the prime selling point of the front Pitbull (that it unloads the suspension)?

You are correct Mike, the front stand will not work on a S2. Sorry.
I don't know if the one that lifts at the bottom of the fork will work or not.

Darthane,
The bottom fork lift is good for changing tires and such. For unloading forks (and S2 tire changing) I'm still going to be using an engine hoist or chainfall from the garage rafters I guess.

Daves,
Thanks anyway. I don't know if it's possible or in kind with the event focus, but could or will you have a retail sales table open on Saturday? You'd probably/possibly sell out of those stands at the event, at least I think you would.

I always seem to be throwing you curve balls. ; )

If they get here before Sat I will have them there.
We will be selling and taking orders for Joe Rocket stuff at the show.
I don't have any Tshirts yet.
I'll probably have some frame pucks and other small stuff too.

You might want to sample some of Bomber's 5-gallon thermos contents before things get too far along though. ; )

Bomber,
Just kidding. I do want to see how you strap a 5-gallon thermos to the back of your bike though.

Ride to Chicago, turn right, follow the northbound freeway up into Wisconsin until you hear the Thundering Herd.

Just make sure you are listening for Buell's. If you hear Harley's you have another 100 miles to go. If you see a lot of folks walking around wearing Green and Yellow you over shot your mark by about 50 miles.

S-2 owners-- I have a PitBull front lift, the one that lifts at the triple clamp, and it works great on my RS. I have S-2 bodywork and every thing clears fine with fairing on the bike. You do have to be careful when raising or lowering, but it works fine with the right pin. Makes any front wheel or fork work a breeze! Highly recommended! Be sure you lift the rear end first, unless you're good at fiberglass repair. AL
