Thanks hugely Dave it's much appreciated.

i second that nomination. when i broke the carb on the Thong recently, Tripper had a replacement carb on my doorstep within days, on his nickel, yet asked for nothing in return.

Dave, what Mr. Grumpy said. : )

Everyone here is very helpful and its obvious that we take care of our own kind....and some others.

My hat goes off to all.

I agree with Newfie. I remember coming to this site the day after I brought my brand new to me Cyclone home. I was mechanically very green, and had stripped out one of the torx head nuts holding the primary derby cover on.

It is hilarious in hindsight, I was in a near panic over such a simple little thing. I had more help and support then I knew what to do with. And it just got better and richer from there.

Hell, anymore thanks to the education I have gotten here, if I had a problem like that again I could probably fix it without even stopping the bike ; )

The bikes are really cool, and attract the right people, but it's the people that make them special. Funny, it always is.

I've said this many times: I like all motorcyclists, but Buell® motorcycle owners have a similar mindset, you know? Buell motorcyclists want a unique experience. We tend to be more individualistic than other motorcyclists and less likely to follow the crowd. We tend to be nice people and - this will sound corny - but I've also seen that we're extremely appreciative of other people. What I also like is that we seem to have an extraordinary level of tolerance - you just don't see any rude attitudes, which is really cool. We have a lot of really successful people riding Buell motorcycles who could be arrogant and stuffy, but they're not. And that's because we're true to who we are. We're not riding a Buell to prove to other people that we're cool. We know who we are. Let me give you a perfect example of what I mean by this. Buell tends to not attract the kind of people who want to pretend they're someone they're not. Buell owners think, "I know I can buy a bike that will go 200 mph, but c'mon, when am I ever going to do that?" We just have a different mindset. Maybe we're purists, rather than poseurs. We just want to have fun, and we want a great motorcycle to help do that. Maybe we're born that way, huh?

My presence blew that theory out of the water years ago

Having way too many scoots over the last 35 years, "The big four,HD and a few exotics" I can honestly say the Buell folks are the best. Right up ther with the alcohol burnin Briggs crowd.

Could you people please stop writing "your" in place of "you're" (with the exeception of M1combat)? The contraction of "you are" is "you're". It drives me nuts!!!

Seriously though, you're a great group of people. I've only met a few of you personally but everybody here seems very smart, very nice and very cool.

John,
Dana does the same thing, that and he types "are" instead of "our". I'm anal about it too. Drives me crazy reading it.

alright, i wasn't gonna do this, but since everyone else is chiming in, "a lot" is two words, not "alot."

then again, i shouldn't criticize, i am the run-on sentence king of the world.

That's funny about "are" instead of "our". I saw this recently at a Fuddruckers. Somebody wrote on a chalkboard, "Are specials this week:". Goofy!

Yeah CJ, I might be a little anal about this but I'm not filled with hatred!
