Who is going to Bike Week in Ocean City Maryland in September? My daughter is working for the promoter and it looks really good this year with Discovery Channel being there to film a "Southern Choppers" episode and many builders like Kendall Johnson, OCC, Indian Larry etc. in attendance. Go to www.delmarvabikeweek.com for all the info.
I will definitely be there. It would be really great to have a Buell contingent on hand.

hi steve, must have been you i saw at ocean city harley maybe 2 saturdays ago.i remember the #17 and the bar and sheild on the frame. I was sitting outside with a white Buell. always looking for a ride somewhere. Allen also remember a 2nd gear wheelie as you took of to the beach.

2BRDY - That was me & I saw your bike - nice airbrush job on the tank. I looked inside but couldn't pick out the Buell rider.... LOL - I figured he'd look "different".

Sorry about the wheelie - I'm 55 years old and I just can't help myself. Its Erik's fault, not mine. These bikes are just so much damned fun to ride....

BTW, Steve Heller on this forum owns Mikes Bikes on the corner of 1st and Division in OC. He's got 2 Buells and is a great guy.

Man I miss Ocean City MD!!! I started lifeguarding there in 1988. Now I am a full time lifeguard here in Imperial Beach CA. If you go there, definately hit up the "bearded clam", "brass balls saloon" and "big peckers bar and grill". They are some fun bars. If you are looking for pretty beach girls, may I recommend "seacrets" on the bay side at the south end of town. I get misty eyed recalling all those happy bikinied aquantences I made as an enterprising young lifeguard....

Thinking about it, there will be a Battletrax there I think so that makes it more likely I will be there.

We should all pick a time and place to get together. There is a bike remembrence/freedom parade right on the boardwalk (you must sign up early). It would be fun to have a Buell group representing.

There you go instigating something. I wasn't gonna do the boardwalk ride, but a Buell contingent sounds interesting. If José and the DC guys come down there are 4 or 5 of us who live here, we could get up a good number.And then I can show you those twisties I've been promising.

Are you going to Bike Week? My daughter works part time for Salty at Endless Summer and he is the promoter for the Chopper build off at the convention center. I may be down all week helping him out getting things set up. I'd like to do the boardwalk ride with some fellow Buellers.

Come help me get these darn studs out so I can replace them, then I put my motor back together and we can go riding this weekend!! I need to get a good 500 mile break in done in the next few weeks so I'll be ready for OC bike week.

For an application to attend the Remembrance Parade contact Ashley@delmarvabikeweek.com.
My shop will do just fine for a meet up spot. For the parade they are requiring an inspection of the bikes at 7:30am the day of the parade. The inspection site is the Park and Ride lot located in West O.C.. It is on the other side of the Rt. 50 bridge from either my shop or the parade.

What's the deal? I'll be up with my fresh rebuild on my X-1. Hopefully I can get through the break in miles before I get there so I can open it up and let it run!! Where we meeting at? I will be up Friday night and stay all day Saturday. I think Jose will be coming up Saturday morning.
