I just sold my 1979 Les Paul Custom (made in Kalamazoo Michigan)Bought it the same year that plant burnt down!! It automatically became a collectors item I used to always play Strats. Just like the Buell, Once I picked up this Paul...I never played anything else.(except for a Kramer Beretta that Eddie Van Halen made w/one pickup)!!

I live right next to Waukesha WI (Home of Les Paul).

Personally I haven't bought a guitar brand new since I was 15 years old. I have been looking hard at the ESP Les Paul style guitars. Maybe one day...

hey guys,
chandler H-D is selling xb9s for $5999...
sounds great till you add all the BS charges and fees.
out the door, $7600.
what a load of crap, i will keep my m2.
this kinda garbage is why i will never own another H-D product and why buell is gonna have a hard time in the future.
get out of the boutiques and get into a MOTORCYCLE dealership.

i feel better, what a shame.

After I buy anything I stop shopping for it.
I stay closer to sane.

I play a jews harp, my Grandmama taught me way back when. I have a chipped front tooth from learning. After she died, my Mama gave me her old harp she taught me with. I still play it, makes me feel like I'm back home at springtime when things ain't goin' none too good.

$10,134.15 out the door for my 04 XB12S.
Mother Road H-D, Route 66 MotorSports, Kingman AZ.
I was shown the invoice on it, and I believe it was either 9200 or 9500. Anyway, they are selling for less than cost at some dealerships, so logic would suggest the dealers are receiving a rebate that they're keeping quiet about! I got in on the $250.00 gas card promo and also got the salesman to throw in a parts and service manual, about $90.00 worth. Of coarse there is a glut of Buells in Az due to the fact, thirteen H-D ships and all but one deal Buells. In fact last time I was there five weeks ago they still had two brand new 03 XBs.

blake,
the point is that it is advertised for $5999 not $7600... i will never pay for a destination or set up fee. i have no problem with tax, but other than that they can keep it. think about it, almost 1/4 of the price is after purchase charges. what a crock. just my opinion. and yes $7600 is a great deal on a 2003 xb9s BUT that is not the point.

later,
orngm2

ps. i see you have posted on rswarrior.com...
do you have a warrior? i do, great scooter, lots of fun.

what, you guys didnt get any of those suzukis? we had a couple of the DR650's. it was a ton of fun riding around on them, but downright exhausting trying to keep up with the humvees off road. not a terribly powerful bike, but fun.
