Nine of us from AZ and NM were lucky enough to get together this weekend for our own mini "torquefest".
We wanted to send Ski (Ride it til it seizes!) off with one last group ride. We had a diverse group of riders and bikes with tubers, XB's, and an Aprilia. It was an incredible weekend so I wanted to share a couple of pics.

Murrae attempted surgery on Charlieboy's broken speedo sensor. Unfortunately the patient did not recover.

Murrae and Mabel's sweet S3's. I've never heard ANYTHING quite like Murrae's bike! The locals ran when they heard him coming...and trust me, they heard him!

We stopped to pay our respects and say a prayer for Daryl, the rider who lost his life at the October Torque fest.
From left to right, Ski, Al, Kobie, Bart, Murrae, Elizabeth, Charlie and Mabel.

Unfortunately, HWY 191 (the road we all wanted to ride) was closed 28 miles in. Fortunately the road closure meant little to no traffic and the first 28 miles were just incredible!

I wish I had more pictures of the incredible roads we were on, but I was too busy riding! I really learned a lot this weekend and I can't thank everyone who came out enough! It was a safe and fast weekend. Anyone ready for part three? How's August looking for everyone??

It wasn't the road closed or barricade sign but probably more like the "Hazardous materials" sign a little further down that probably did it...not sure why no one went and got the pics of that sign : D

I'm glad we didn't proceed. It was diesel that was spilled and I don't know if any of you have tried to ride on asphalt with diesel on it?
