All right, here's the deal. After looking at the seat cowl that is offered by Eurocomponents, I decided that wasn't the look I am going for, so I have made a rear seat cowl for my X-1 that fits the stock seat. Nothing too big, just a simple cover for the rear that looks clean. I have a vendor that is willing to take a look at it and possibly start selling, however there has to be a market request for them.

Any other X-1 owners out there interested in a seat cowl for their stock seats? For you other Buellers, I may start making seat cowl plugs for the other models if I can get a seat to work with. I just need the input to see if there is any interest.

i would if it only fit a corbin gunfighter and lady seat..but that is a big if, cause that seat sticks way out on the sides

I would have to get the Corbin seat to make it. That's the reason I went with the stock seat, so I could keep the sleek body lines of the subframe to seat.

Here's some pics of the cowl. Keep in mind this is a work in progress, meaning it is still in primer/gelcoat and not finish paint. Let me know what everyone thinks:

X-1 cowl 1
X-1 cowl 2
X-1 cowl 3
X-1 cowl 4

Thanks, I guess I'll be sending it off for final work and production soon. Keep an eye out and I'll let everyone know when it's available!!

Blue,
That is the same idea that I had,
except i don't think i am quite skilled enough to do it..
How exactly did you do it??
I was thinking resin soaked fiberglass strips and bondo
If you are looking at selling what would be the cost..
Or if you would do one yourself???
Thanks

Adam
