i am having a problem with the brake light. it is staying on, and i can not get it to go off. Is there a switch or plug that has gone bad? Please help!

It is the brake switch. Follow your brake pedal til you see the switch. I had the same problem on my 2000 M2.

I've found more bulbs installed backwards that you can imagine. Just because the two barbs are at different levels, does not seem to prevent Buell owners from installing them wrong.

Remove bulb, rotate 180 degrees and reinstall.
