Ok as some of us know here I have been bashing my ride as of late. Well today I rode a brand new BMW R 1200 GS. Indeed the BMW is a wonderful bike but, I have to tell you that the M2 just feels so much better to me. My how I appreciate my bike and its qualities and indeed it has many imho. The torque of the paint shaker just can't be beat IMHO. The ergos of the BMW are very nice however the M2 has perfect ergos for me.One thing I like about the R1200 was how smooth it rode. My M2 is a bit harsh over the bumps while the BMW just glides over them. As for handling IMHO the Buell just kills the BMW. When I lean the Buell into a corner it just turns itself. Kind of like it is on rails. I am gonna keep the Cyclone. I just put 200 miles on it today and it reminded me how great an all around bike the M2 is. I am taking off at stoplights and by the time I get through the intersection (only two lanes mind you) I am going 45mph. I don't even have the throttle pegged either. Nothing on the road can touch me coming out off a stop light.:-)Anyway despite shearing a motormount bolt a few weeks ago the Buell is a keeper for me for a lifetime. This bike is just perfect for me.

Regards

Mike

Court has proof that the M2 is the best -- remind him to tell you sometime.
