The Thunderstorm heads are the high flow heads.
How much power?
Good question, probably about 80 HP to the rear wheel.
Hope this helps and welcome to Buell and the Badweb!

Ride to the edge!

That ugly fender keeps oil off your tire. Your transmission oil breather vents right over it. If you overfill your tranny oil (easy to do), you'll be wishing it was still there.

It also protects the belt and pulley from flying stones. It's great to go naked but it might shorten the life of your belt.

Jtars10, where are you in FL? I am close to Tampa. If your bike has a large fairing and a round headlight it is not stock. My guess would be that you could get a stock M2 flyscreen and put that in place of the fairing.

Jtars- I am guessing that your Black intake with Flappy things is a Kuryakyn Hypercharger. Just so you know. Congratulations on your new best friend, and WELCOME!

you can move the gearbox vent to another location so it won't spooge on yer rear tire (spooge IS the proper technical term, btw ;-} )

flyscreen will boly right up, so long as the previous owner didn't fubar the mounts for it (they bolt inbeetween the headlight buckt the the ears that hold it to the fork legs)

M2s are great sccots! yer gonna love yours (change to the upgraded shifter, and exhasut mount, btw, if that hasn't been done {can't tell in the pic}) also, check the Old School Buell thread . . . .there's a bunch quick and easy steps to take to make your bike even more enjoyable --

the Knowledge Vault will have your head spinning with the amount of info contained therein . . . . have fun, and don't hesitate to ask questions, ther's always someone who's run point down whatever trail your on, and can help

Thats an ugly fairing on a beautiful bike (IMHO). Welcome!

It's not just overfilling the tranny, I have thoroughly soaked my rear fender with oil from both a crank seal failure (common problem, easy fix) and from an oil filter spinning off (also pretty common).

I cut down the license plate holder (using a precision crafted hacksaw) and that made things look a lot nicer. I don't notice the rear inner fender much.

Jstars10- I believe (for what its worth) in keeping that inner fender. There are things you can do to play with it. Here is mine-
