I just started to notice the same on my bike. (I have the same bike as you). I pushed the sticker back down and acted like nothing ever happened.

Why did Buell use plastic in the first place? Mine is having a little problem on the safety sticker below the gas cap. Yea I never removed it now it is bubbling. Most likely I will be getting a new tank soon. Somebody mentioned coating the Buell tank with Herculiner then painting over it.

Regards

Mike

I have a 2k M2 that never had the bubbling problem when the paint was stock. When I had my bike repainted, I stripped the old paint all the way down to the plastic. The guy who repainted my bike said the only thing he did out of the ordinary was to use a flex additive with the DuPont paint. I still don't have the bubbling problem (yet?).

BTW, the stock tank looks great without the raised decals. I never bothered to put them back on.
