I took off from Appleton at 6:30pm Friday night, got home about midnight. Man, what a long drive that was after working all day!
Got up Sat morning, I actually washed my FLHT, first time since last Sept or so.
Penny had a class reunion in the afternoon and I didn't want to embarrass her anymore than I had to(just showing up with me in tow) by at least having a clean bike.
We rode out to Hickory Hills Park and I got to meet the people she went to high school with.
The reunion dinner later that night was at the Jesup golf course, good food and I even found a guy that didn't know anyone there either that has 7 bikes so we talked most of the night. I now have a new friend in Nashville.
Sunday morning I took the Expedition to have the oil changed and tires rotated, seems like I have to have the oil changed a lot now!
Took my Dodge out to the woods and dumped 2 months worth of grass clippings and branches out of the back of it(yes Penny, I still love you even if you do fill the back of my truck with stuff)
Finally, some play time so Penny, her Mom and I rode to Cedar Rapids for, yes, cappacino(for those of you that don't know my wife, everywhere we go revolves around cappacino). Had a nice 120 mile ride, got home and I put new grips on Penny's FXR for her while she washed her Ranger in the driveway. She even did the front half of my Expedition, she used the excuse that the hose wouldn't reach far enough to do the back 1/2.
I left Waterloo at 4 am this morning to drive up here to get to work.

Ride to the edge!
Dave

Dang Dave,

I thought i had a long daily commute.. well i know you don't drive it daily.. but dang. I drive from north of Flint Mi, to Birmingham Mi (snobb town, your wife would love it cappacino heaven) that is around 125-132 mile round trip... and people wonder how i put 20,000 miles on my X-1 in 2 years.

My weekend was almost as exciting. Spent most of saturday building Closets for my new up stairs (for those that don't know my wife and me, purchased a 130 year old farm house 3 years ago, and tore the 2nd story off and re-built it for the past 2 years, we finnally got up to the master bedroom last weekend) I designed the entire layout, plumbing, electrical, data, walls, etc. And i highly recommend that if you are gonna do this, all you need are 2 simple tools, GAS AND A MATCH!!!!) I digress. so i had to make shelving and hanger poles for our closets in our Master B-room, well i decided to get creative, and made them from 3/4" white laminated partical board. Turned out really nice.. and should look good for when we sell the house in a couple years.

Anyway, Sunday i got a 300 mile run in, Had a open house, Blackbelt test (six of my students test for 1st degree), and then i just decided to take a nice casual ride... ENDED UP IN GRAYLING.
Well at that time i decided to turn back.. although it wasn't a ride full of twisties, it was EXTREMLY relaxing. THANK YOU BUELL!!

BUELL-GON take me away. LOL....

Sorry i didn't meant to take the wind from your sails Dave.....
