Working on plans to hold a sportbike event in Appleton in August.
I have a meeting next Tuesday with the head honchos at Papa Johns Pizza and the radio station sales manager to start planning.
So far the plan is,
Hoban Brothers Racing will be there with the race bike.
Edge Racing with their R1 race bike(Dyna?)
FREE Pizza and soda
Live remote broadcast with WAPL FM 105.7
See the new Buells!
Joe Rocket rep with special deals on Joe Rocket stuff
Burn out contest(if the mall will let us)
Bike show
Tattoo contest? (working on this)
Prizes
Drawing for a free track day with Edge Racing!

Still working on details.
Any ideas?
Any WI/IA/IL/MI/MN Badwebbers interested in coming?
Anyone want to help?
I'm thinking Aug 21st as a date?
Of course, all brands will be welcome.

Sportbike event & not just strictly a Buell event sounds FANTASTIC to me. Hell maybe even let you take the R1 for a spin.

I have never done a strictly Buell event. How do you think I'm going to convert anyone if I don't invite them to play with us?

Hmmm...Dyna offered a ride on his R1. He must really trust you. All he let me do was sit and drool on it. Then again, I know not to ask. LOL
