Discovery has been running Bike Week this week. Did anyone catch this episode and notice the free Buell T-Shirt?

And then, just afterwards on the Monster House: Biker House episode, I could've sworn I saw a Buell doing a wheelie...

I think it was an S1, the guy who owns the house has a bike shop & it definitely was a Buell.

BTW, I thought both the Chica & Young bikes were odd looking & had to uncomfortable as all hell.

Watching them ride, Chica's looked much more uncomfortable than HY's. One must keep in mind with customs/choppers that it is form way over function. Watching a R1 ride by I'd put it in about the same comfort level.

Notice HY's perimeter front brake, pretty cool.

Tonight is Exile Customs vs Eddie Trotta. Trotta wins but Exile builds a bad, b no frills bike.

Hank Young comes to bike night at the Vortex here in Atlanta.
He usually rides the Flying Pan.
Pete (Torqer) took this picture at the Vortex last month.

If that Flying Pan had some fuel capacity it would really be something.

I'd like to build a custom around a panhead in the next few years myself.

Damn! I don't have cable so missed all of that!
I know one of the episodes of the Build-Off features Exile Cycles. Russell, the owner, has a Buell XB9S, a black one, that he rides a lot. He rode it to the Love Ride last year. Sorry, no pics. AL

I have been a fan of Exile choppers for a while, that biker build off was on last night. Russel lost and it was a shame. His bikes are the Buells of the chopper world. Nothing else like em.
Check out his site- www.exilecycles.com
Would love to have one of those!

That bike built by Exile was sick!
It was smart and simple yet tough as nails.
And clip-ons on a chopper makes me think dirty thoughts!
Russell was robbed!

I have to agree about Exile. I have been a fan of theirs since I first heard of them. Their bikes look BEEFY. Oldskool styling with a meaty touch to them.

Ditto the Exile comments. I watch most of these chopper shows, and appreciate the work they take, and appreciate the style, but have to kinda laugh at them when they are done.

That Exile bike looked like something I would own and ride though. Very sweet.

" clip-ons on a chopper "

So, does anyone have a link or a pic of it? Or is it the one on their main page?
I kind of like this one http://www.exilecycles.com/fat_bloke.htm with maybe a short sprung seat.

for some reason I like Kendall Johnsons bike, maybe it's the partiality to springer front ends. Lose the ape hangers and put on a set of drag bars and it's a perfect chopper. Some of the others are too raked out including Exiles. Just my opinion and ya know what they say about those.

Watch Sunday to see Martin Bros and Matt Hotch.
Two bad customs. Russell M.'s was also a nice hot rod.
After watching the shows all week I rode my Bourget to work today. Much different than a Buell but a blast none the less.
