I was in at the Torque Center the other day and they are selling ALOT of equipment at greatly reduced prices. The owner told me the store will be closing pending a sale, but it is not confirmed yet.

Where you getting them from & how much?

I have a sneaky feeling this 218 on the R1 wont last me 4000 miles & I am not paying $300 for a single damn tire. Considering the 208's as well as the Diablos.

I am getting them at Torque center. I think it will be just under $300 for front and back, mounted, balanced and the guy said it would be same or at worst next day service. I have always had good service from them.

Thanks for the heads up. I really want a Shuberth Concept Helmet and they are the only dealer I know of. I'll have to call them tomorrow and see if they have any in my HUGE headed size.

Dang, gotta get down there, bummer, good shop with a wide variety of gear for a wide spectrum of customers. Was the first place in the region that I saw a Blast in person, before any of the local dealerships even had one. Good place.

Hope they stay open until Friday when I can get down there to see what I can afford to get before they're gone.

The owner said that they will remain open for awhile, they are just trying to liquidate a bunch of their inventory. I freaked out at first because their sign read "Store Closing 20-70% savings"

Man...That stinks. Best independent clothing dealer in the area. Guess the overhead got to them. I got to beat feet down there and check out the deals.
