I have an m2 cyclone, runs fine till you twist the throttle above 3 g's then sounds fuel starved. Any ideas?

Check your float level. Sounds like its starving for fuel. As for the ignition system, it was rare that it failed and the stock stuff works just fine up to 90hp. |

You might check your tank vent also. Next time it happens, pop the tab on the gas cap open and see if it changes things. |

Check obvious things first, how are your plugs, plugwires?,check where plug wires go into coil for corrosion, does petcock flow fuel properly?,is your tank vent working?,have you tried with aircleaner off?,is carb rejetted?pull float bowl off and look for crap in jets. |

Also- check your accelerator pump. Pull the Helmholtz cover and snorkel tube and twist the throttle- you should see a substantial stream of fuel. |
