this bad boy is LOT 21, a very large 20-page 2002 Buell model line-up brochure, featuring a dynamite 4-panel fold-out of the brand-new Firebolt XB9R.

if you look close at this pix you can see that the very bottom of the pages are slightly "kinked", but it is minor and can be fixed with some time sitting under a heavy, flat weight. i'd rate the brochure in very good condition, and i think the highly detailed fold-out of the Firebolt is pretty trick.

btw: this, too, is my ONLY copy.

do i hear...??? : )

I talked to my parents this evening, there was a nice 1/3 page write up about the trip on page 2 or 3 of my local newspaper. I'll try to get a scan of it when I get a chance, they usually don't put the entire paper online.

Jerry and his auctions are awesome, I think after those, we'll be around $2000, with the big stuff yet to come.

Court, wanna come to Gettysburg Bike Week???

Alex, very cool all the way around! tomorrow i'm outta here doing recon of the Ferrisville to Zion leg, hope you're getting excited! : )

ok, another auction has closed whilst i was away. Loki, congratulations on being the winning bidder of LOT 17, a pristine copy of Battle 2win Volume 2 Issue 2 (for only $10? dude, you STOLE it! guess it pays to BADWEB on the weekends! : ) )

anyways, THANK YOU LOKI!!!

folks, i'm about outta stuff. i've been giving away bits and pieces of my stash here and there over the years for what i considered to be good causes, and i figured maybe this last gasp of Buellish collectables might do Alex and Matt and the ACS some good, and you guys have come thru beyond my wildest expectations.

i've got one more trinket to offer, something i think is quite cool, and something you're unlikely ever to see anywhere else. it'll appeal, perhaps, only to a select few of you, but if that select few includes you, you’ll be buzzed.

you guys know what to do, so cover for me for a bit, k? and if any of you have something you want to offer up here (thanks again to Dave Stueve from Appleton Buell!) on behalf of Alex and Matt and the American Cancer Society, go right ahead. post it and hype it (hang a pic or two if you can) and we’ll make up the rest of the rules as we go.

thank you, BADWEB. i’m proud to be here.

Bomber,
Nope I don't need the poster. When they were having trouble getting the poster off the ground last year I ordered 10 of them. I had BoomerM2's wife Katie frame one for me, have sold/gave a couple others to people that missed out and donated the one that just sold on the auction.
Going to have to see how many I have left.

aw shoot, I'll be good...
Bomber, it IS a Ferris thing --- something about having that Ferris finesse that I'll not try and capture here, HOWEVER, know for a fact parting with some of his treasures is not easy...
Alex, yessir, FB is Zion-bound and from the sounds of it a great route is in the making. Would be there with my two-sence but, yes Dino, still working on posting bail for the SV.
