Just a reminder to everyone (not that we need it) but please be sure to properly inspect your bikes and wear proper protective gear.

My uncle was killed yesterday when a tire locked up on his home-built trike. He was only going about 30mph when it happened, and he had a helmet, but it was still lethal.

I know this sort of thing gets brought up once in a while, but I figured it's worth reading again if it can save another life.
