Post where and when and I will try and make it as long as it is a Harley Tolerant crowd. Just posted the Buell for sale and want to keep it in primo condition for its new owner.

Port Washington refuse yard, next to the skate park. Will be there before 6pm when they close. No branches. Pack the lawn clippings in a plastic bag if you want to keep the tankbag clean.
errrrr, you were probably taking to Dyna about where to meet ... never mind. ; )

Hey Mike...Come on over and I can fill your tailer with some HazMat stuff I can't seem to get rid of. Dang Miata is too small for anything other than a good time in the twisties. LOL

The last official hazmat stuff I got rid of was in Cali at a disposal day. They wouldn't let me keep the can. Bummer, it was a good can, didn't leak or nothin'.

Lawn'n'garden chemicals, old LP tanks, Dehumidifier, plus some bulkier stuff they won't take with the regular pick up. Grrrr...

Wouldn't bother me so much except for the recycling effort is less than minimal in Brookfield yet they impose all these restrictions.

Have a feeling I never will figure out City Hall. LOL

Run for Mayor. If you win you still won't be able to figure out City Hall, but you will be able to schedule an expanded hazmat collection day. ; )

Suggestion: place the dehumidifier and LP tanks next to the curb some Thursday or Friday morning, then close the front curtains of your house. They should disappear by noon or sooner.
I've gotten rid of quite a few things this way by placing them on the street side of the sidewalk. There's always someone who will drive by to take it. And if not then just haul it back into the garage.

Hint: If nobody takes the propane tanks then paint them orange with a black number on them, tie some anchor rope to the handle, then put them back out at the curb with a hand-lettered Free sign taped to one. Guaranteed they'll disappear then.

Hahaha!!! That used to work elsewhere, but we don't even have sidewalks (much less bus service and city water) in Brookfield. Plus, I live on a cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood. About all I will get are complaints from the neighbors about junking up the yard. Come to think of it, I feel the same concerning that subject. LOL

Nope, just have to keep begging until I find someone with a pick up truck or trailer and a dump permit. Don't have enough to hire a hauling service or rent a truck...YET.

All right then, have a rummage sale, put the LP tanks at 50cents, the old aerosol cans at 5cents, the dehumidifier at a buck, and everything else in a big "free" box, or make it a "make offer" box. Get a box of used paperback books, a few old tools, some old pots and pans, a couple of fishing lures, and an old golf club. Your sign that is guaranteed to draw in the customers should read:
Rummage Sale
Everything must go
Old books, sporting goods, tools, hardware, household supplies, antiques, golf club, kitchen goods, furniture, no baby stuff

You could even park the X1 out there with a printout from the kbb.com web site showing retail value then penciling in your asking price, and don't forget to include mentioning your limited edition collector's item Race Kit ECM that goes with it.

Hope this helps some, it's what I'm here for.

Decided against doing the TWT deal tonight. Have a few other things on my mind right now. Will take a rain check tho & use it next week.

Hopefully the magic 8 ball will reveal all by then.

Thanks Mike...Now all I need is a herd of day laborers to get it all up from the basement and put out on display. Then return the unsold items to the basement. LOL

Actually, I am planning on having Legacies come in and do an estate sale as I have a lot of antiques and collectibles and they have an inner circle of clients. I just want to get the HazMat stuff out before then.

Now for the suggestion of putting the X1 in a rummage sale. Oy Vey...What am I going to have to do with you now? That's it. Off to the Showers for some DeLousing. Grrrr!!!
