Needed to clean the bike too. Damn thunderstorm came outta nowhere & we got dumped on, but it was only for about 5 minutes or so, then we rode out of it. After that the bugs kicked up big time.

Havent seen em that bad in quite awhile.

Just to show it can be done on a Buell as well....by the way...that bike, 24 hours later, was on display at "THE ART OF THE MOTORCYCLE".

if you'll note the vectors at which the corpses are arrayed on Thang's headlight, you'll see that he was playin at being a fast mover before the pic was shot

Let 'em accumulate, sun dry, then scrape 'em off and make stew. Very nutritious.

The above pic is of Skully's (Keith's) XB9S on the way home from the Hill Country last Autum.

Coat your face sheild with plexus and wipe the bugs off right after they hit the shield before they dry.

Plexus makes them come off easily and cleanly with no scratches.

Wish I had a digicam. I'd take a pic of the critters on the X1 from my Arkansas trip over Memorial day. Come to think of it I haven't washed the bike all year. Got a pretty good collection going.

Bob's back on BadWeB. And he has the Buell going back to AR again? I smell a track day in our future there Bob. What you say, plenty of bugs to kill at OHR come dusk-thirty.
