I wanted to let everyone know that I just had a very awesome experience with Columbia Motorcycles in Vancouver, WA. About a month or so ago my starter went belly up on my 2001 S3T. This was not a good thing because my financial situation is very grim at the moment (high tech lay off victim) and its hard enough just to keep the bills paid on time let alone having to dish out $320.00 bucks for a new starter and the cost of labor. Well, with that said, my friend Jerry (thanks bud) was able to send me up a starter that he had that wasn't in use at the moment. I called Columbia Motorcycle and they came to my place and picked up my bolt, called me that same afternoon and confirmed it was the starter. Replacement starter arrived via UPS from the land of sunshine and twisties a few days later and was then dropped off to the shop. With in a two days I got a call from the Buell Tech letting me know the bike was ready to be picked up. When I asked what the damage was for labor, I was told that there was no need to worry about it, it was on the house come get your ride and go have some fun. Not too often things like this happen to me lately. I want to THANK Jerry Haughton and Columbia Motorcycle of Vancouver, WA for helping out in a time of need. Jim | ||
