Author Message   Whodom Posted on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 - 02:02 pm:        Did any of you guys fill out that on-line survey that was up for about one day a couple of months ago? Most of the questions were about the Buell.com website, and you got a free screensaver for answering the questions. Seems like the survey was gone the next day and never reappeared. Anybody know what happened? Surely they intended to run the survey longer than that.   Captainplanet Posted on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 - 02:40 pm:        I missed that one. I have received a couple of paper surveys though. Those miss the whole point on a couple of important issues, like questions on service and such. Besides, doing a survey for internal use only and not sharing that data or at least results with those you survey really is pretty useless. I would be happy to do a real survey for Buell as it is what I do for a living. The survey was only up for part of the day on Wednesday, February 18, 2004. By the next day, it was gone. If you went to Buell.com, there was a link for a free screensaver, which took you to the survey. I just can't imagine why they had it for such a short time. When it disappeared, I figured it was a glitch and that they'd have it back up later but it never reappeared.   Seanp Posted on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 - 11:15 pm:        I filled it out. One question was "which manufacturer do you think has the best website?". I said Ducati, and suggested Buell should add more free downloads, wallpaper, screen savers, etc. like Ducati does. I also suggested that being able to buy Buell apparel on-line would be a big help since so few of the H-D/Buell dealers stock any of it.
