Inspired by another post and my own experiences

I HATE Harley Davidson North (The HELL BEAST in Kansas City North). I am not trying to say all Harley dealerships are bad but why should I have to deal with way then a less satisfactory dealership. http://www.gailsharleydavidson.com/ has been a godsend. The friendliest group of people I have ever dealt with as far as dealerships go.

I live in the most northern point of Kansas City. Why in the hell should I have had my bike fixed several miles away from home, I feel disgust. If BUELL wont do anything to fix this problem then the hell with them,BUELL just becomes the problem! You can’t tell me Buell doesn’t know about all the complaints. Everyone goes on like everything is ok.

Super I met Eric Buell, blah blah blah. When you meet him tell him to pull his head out of his arse. Yes he is my Godfather and I truly love Buells but where in the hell is he. Why do we have to put up with this, it seems no matter how much we b$^ch about BUELL service why doesn’t he stand up and resolve these issues.

I don’t post much, mainly because I don’t have much to say and I am a new motorcycle enthusiast that has a ton to learn. Since the first day I found this forum and I was hooked on Buells (before I bought one). You all have been wonderful and full of information. I have “Lurked the forums” every day since I have been a member and nothing has been done to correct this problem. When I find something that fits me in every way I stick with it. Buell has defied me in many way.

What in the hell does it take? I am a very loyal human being. When I find something that suits me I stay with it. I thought I found my place until I started dealing with Harley. Yes I know this is one instance but that’s no excuse. I have read this forum from to back and there is constant bi@#$hing about a varoius amount of things. I refuse to deal with such crap.

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE my Buell and I don’t want to give it up. With the POOR quality of service I have to deal with why in the hell would I want to continue with this relationship? The Kawasaki dealership just up the road has been better to me than HARLEY/BUELL has ever been.

If you ask me HARLEY/BUELL should be better to us since we are apart of their small fan base compared to others.

Buells is a bike that is purely for care from individuals and not there producer.

I am sorry about my rant, j/k no I am not!

Brian

No one here is likely to disagree with you. On average, the HD dealers are clueless and rude.

IMHO!

I LOVE my XB.

Brian -- er, lots of discussions surrounding this issue . . .. . Erik (you'd think you'd be able to spell your Godfather's name, yes? {smile}) is not doubt aware . . .. .

do a little research on the nature of manufacturer/distributor relastionship, and the seat of responsibility for the situation will become clear (hint, it's not East Troy, but Juknow Ave in Milwaukee) . . ..

all that said, it doesn't alter your justifiable anger . . . find a good dealer (sounds like you have! good for you), learn to do some wrench spinning on your own, and realize that many manufacuturers have the same difficutlies with their dealers (talk to some local Duck/Guzzi/BMW riders) . . . .

but, most of all, have fun!
