I'm looking for a new riding jacket and would like to go the textile route. It looks like apparel companies change designs/features every year and bump up the same jacket from version 1.0 to 2.0, etc. I'm not fashion conscious enough to care about the latest thing, I'd much rather get a good deal. I've been to motoxoutlet.com and newenough.com and was just wondering if there were any other worthwhile sites anyone can steer me to that offer non current styles at reduced prices....

(I did search the KV and came up empty with words like 'bargain', 'discount', and 'cheap-')

Check this <http://www.ema-usa.com/> for clearance.
I bought the Arlen Ness Airtech. They had the best price by far.

I know you're only looking for a jacket, but this deal is too good to pass up! I bought one and love it. It did run a bit smaller then expected. (I think that's why they put that comment about the sizing now....wasn't there when I bought mine!) Lots of zippered vents that work well.

Darth, look at my profile I'm wearing that suit. I had originally been looking for just pants when I stumbled across that deal. The pants alone are worth $150! Get the black and the circle will be complete. Give in to the dark side!

Like Skully, I too will soon have a Joe Rocket Phoenix 3.0 jacket for sale, but I wouldn't feel comfortable selling it to anybody here. They're pure garbage! Made in China junk! I've had mine for three weeks, and it's already on it's way back to be repaired. The problem lies in the lack of reinforcement in the loops that attach the liner sleeves to the shell sleeves. The reinforcement is purely useless. I've only worn the jacket about 6 times, and am very careful with it, but one sleeve loop has already pulled out, and the other is on it's way.

However, if anybody does want this jacket, knowing it's build quality, as soon as I get it back from Joe Rocket, you can have it for $100 plus shipping.

I'll be looking at Fieldsheer mesh next.

Steve.

I have had a Fieldsheer mesh jacket for over two years now. It is holding up very well.

Pete,
I'd be leary of buying one without trying it on. I have 35" sleeves and had trouble finding one that didn't show 4" of my wrist when bent over. There also is a big difference in how soft the fabric is.
I bought a Bellstaff and love it. $250 but well worth it.

and FWIW:

I advocate buying your stuff where you try it on. No fair asking questions and trying stuff on in a store then go internet shopping for a better price. The ability to look at, touch, and otherwise deal with a rack full of real merchandise is exactly why it costs more. Spend your money where you ask your questions, and buy the next pair (or set, or unit, or whatever) for a better price next time around.
