Okay.. I couldn't make it to my preferred dealer for a test ride to get a back pack so I decided I'd give these b@stards another chance. First a little history. Its kinda a long story but, in short when we were looking for a Buell they had the model we wanted but, the piece of SH!T salesman tried to change the sticker price on us.. not add cost of prep or whatever no.. he was gonna add that on too after he jacked up the price. Then he had the nerve to be shocked when I hung up on him. Thats okay... we got a better bike for a lot less that was barely used. Anyway.. The wife calls Southside HD last week and they say. No problem come in whenever. So we ride in last night. Have all our gear proper IDs. All they have to do is hand us a piece of paper and let the service guy bring it around (I've done HD/Buell demos before so I know the form pretty much by heart.) The salesdick looks at his watch (there is just short of a full hour left before they close) then sighs and gives me the "oh its too late and we're too busy, and I'm with someone so I can't take care of it, besides "you need an appointment." So I flat out tell him in front of his customers that's not what we we're told on the phone and the wife says "thats fine we'll just go to Bloomington HD." I guess the clerk at the checkout heard part of it or something so she hands me my helmet she was watching (she was actually really nice) and I tell her what he told me and explain thats why I bought my V-Rod from Bloomington (more history.. the day I bought it I went to Southside first and waited for nearly half an hour and no one would even talk to me so I left.) Anyway, I'll just go somewhere else they aren't the only dealership around but, I'm still p!ssed as hell. Buell should remove these jerks from their demo list on their website. I'm even more p!ssed at myself for trying to give them another chance after the salesman tried to rip me off which makes me a moron. | ||

I always go to Bloomington or Mann's HD in Columbus much better service I'm sure! | ||

I'd like to see a Buell response to this. I for one am getting sick and tired of hearing about the stupidity of unwilling Buell Dealers. C'mon Buell! Speak up! | ||

Yeah I have been having alot of fun riding on the roads out by my new home that I recently purchased just near Grandview Lake. 15min ride through the twisty country road and I'm on 135 How sweet is that? Are you taking both of your bikes to the Gap? Lora and I are planning a trip down there When it gets nice and warm! | ||

My wife isn't able to go so two of the bikes will be in the garage. The S3T will be the only one going. The guy from work with the XB9S is going with me. The Super Glide and Electra Glide are covered for the weekend. Cool to hear you moved into a house, I love the area near Grandview Lake. Is there going to be a Buell demo deal at Southside or Mann's or Bloomington this summer? Mark | ||

I'm glad you said that you are taking the Buell, if not I don't know what would have happened  I'm still really excited to have a home to call my own. You like myself love the area when it came up for sale I picked it up right away. I now have a 3car garage!! and 5 acres. Finaly a place to wrench on the Buell. I'm sure one of the places will have a Demo, I'll find out and keep ya posted. Maybe when your over this way we could tear up a few miles. | ||

Mark, There is supposed to be a HD and Buell demo at Bloomington the 22nd of this month. I can't make it but, I've got a friend who is looking into buying one of the new sportsters and his wife is looking at the Blasts so I'm pushing them to go and test ride. | ||

Oh.. one other thing. I took their demo XB12R for test ride last week and I've never had a problem with a shifter on a 12 but this thing was so smooth I couldnt even feel it shift. There was no more pressure than lifting my foot. Need to find out what they did. | ||
