Thank you for creating a bike with soul. A bike that is an extension of me and cuts corners like no other. I am however more grateful in the fact that you have brought such an amazing group of people together. People who stand by each other and razz each other. We cut corners together, laugh together, shed tears together and just keep coming back for more. Thanks to the Buell motorcycle and my fellow riders, and thank you Erik for everything. : )

Erik,

There is a few reason why I want to say thanks for creating the S3 that I ride.

1. I have ridden many motorcycles in my short 39 years of life here on this planet but I have yet to ride a bike that brings a smile to my face as the Buell does every time I throw my leg over it.

2. The people I have met because I ride a Buell. I have built friendships that will last a life time and beyond because of the bike.

3. I think this is the most important for me.

I am a part time father of a wonderful 11 year little boy. He rides with me every chance he gets. We talk every night by phone but I only get to see him on Thursdays and every other weekend.

He lives and goes to school about 35 miles from where I live and the location is where I do my banking and is one of my urban tracks I enjoy riding.

So on the afternoons that I am in there area, I do a drive by on the school (his class room faces the street) and blimp the throttle of the Buell (which he knows the sound of over any motorcycle on the road) to say hi and that I that I love him.

He hears me coming and is always at the window to give a quick wave and a smile as I go by.

Thanks again Erik!

Jim

Dear Erik,

I have been reading these letters and kind words from everyone and now wish to add mine. Thank you so much for the XB9S Low that I now enjoy. I am new to motorcycles, though I have loved them from a distance for many, many years.

My wife thinks that I have gone overboard, I now ride to work even in the rain. I tell her that the bike is so much cheaper on gas that I would be crazy not to. But in truth, sir, it is the perma-grin I get from your machine every ride that keeps me wanting more!!

Once again, THANK YOU!!!!

Sincerely,
Howard Miller

Dear Erik,

I have to add my sentiments as well. I want to thank you for Buell Motorcycles. Last year when I first saw the Buell Blast I became intrigued. I went out to the local HD/Buell dealership here and the next thing you know I own a Blast. Getting back on a bike was fun, but riding that little Blast was just that, a Blast. Not only did I enjoy it, but my kids, especially my 2 year old LOVED riding that bike with me.

Well, it's been a little over a year and I decided to sell the Blast, but only after I upgraded to the XB12R (have I told everyone here on BadWeb about that yet ). I am in pure love with this bike. My wife "will not" get on a bike, but she doesn't want me to own or ride anything but a Buell, and she LOVES this 12R also. I hope to keep this thing for the rest of my life. My wife will probably bury me with my Buell when I die. Again, thank you for Buell Motorcycles.

Erik,

I like to think that with what little spare time you have, you are in the shadows taking in all that goes on here at Bad Web. Hopefuly all of these comments in this section has brought a smile to your face. : )
