The pleasure is ours Ted... your victories are our victories, even the little ones. We are here in this community because we live for the adventure... riding gives us some of that, but its the adventure we want, not the ride. You, for better or worse, are now on a SERIOUS adventure, and we are honored to share in it.

Each of us here probably looks into our own hearts and thinks "could I do it"? "Would I have what it takes"? None of us really knows, and anyone in their right mind doubts themself.

You, unlike us, no longer have the luxury of wondering. You just have to do it. Any ways that we can help, are ways we can share in your victories, and share in your adventure. It is a honor and a priveledge.

Other threads here brought back my memories of tearing into my transmission for what I thought was a minor problem, and ending up more or less rebuilding the damn thing. It should have sucked. It was long, painful, expensive, and frustrating. Seemed like everything was two steps backwards for one step forward. Nothing went right.

But, by God, when the job was done I looked back, I was riding a motorcycle who's transmission *I* *rebuilt*. I did it.

I could have bought a Honda, and done nothing but change the oil, but the ride would not have been the same, nowhere near the satisfaction. The motorcycle I ride is running, because By God I decided it was going to. No other reason. And no ride is as sweet!

Will you walk again? Who knows, we pray you do. Will you live a normal life again? Hell yes, that we know.

Before the accident, you could get out of bed, drive to work, and go home, with a shrug of your shoulders. Soon enough, you will get out of bed, go to work, and come home, because, By God, you decided you are going to, and you kicked some ass. I think it will feel fantastic.

To any degree we can share in that adventure we would really enjoy the opportunity.

he's doing real well in my eyes. He's back to being ted now. we had some laughs and I left him watching kill bill vol 1.....uma and lucy lu....dang thats a good combination.

I wanted to thank you all personally for reviving my spirits also. even tho I wasn't hurt in this accident, I never dreamed we'd get to where we are. You all inspired me as much as you did ted.
I got woke up from a 4 year slumber as to what is real
and important in our lives

Plus Ted told me yesterday that the money was just icing on the cake. It was that everyone was pulling for him that keeps him going. He said he can't let us down. Because on the bad days when he gets down he thinks of everyone that has helped out and it gets his ass up and going.

so you all are helping in ways maybe that you didn't know. The motorcycle community and especially our little Buell world step up to the plate and we were swinging for the fences and I do belive we hit it out of the park on this.
Thank you from me to you.
you all brought me back to the living!
