BattleTrax went well. Thank you to all that showed up to support us on a rainy, windy, cold crappy day! We had about 30 riders and the spectators peaked at 100! I was shocked. As we were standing under tents at 7:00 in the morning trying to keep from getting soaked I never thought we would have that kind of turnout. I would also like to thank KC's Most Wanted for braving the wind and still putting on two impressive shows. It takes real big ones to try and do half of that stuff, and even bigger ones to do it in a 20+mph gusting wind. www.kcsmostwanted.com Congratulations to SAM on his Firebolt for BARELY winning the sportbike class. Sam was behind by .01 second after his first two runs and was able to edge out local rider T.J. on his SV650 on his third and final attempt with a time of 53.64 (correct me if I'm wrong on the time). I also need to relay a message to you, Sam, that you are to either relinquish your winnings or agree to stay later in the day when Doug is able to run against you. He turned a best time of 50.24 and wanted to have you there. (the weather did get a bit better after you left) Pictures to come. you tell Doug, that if I could do unlimited laps on warm tires.....well it would be a little different. I'll see if taking the following monday off to travel back will help. I would love to see Doug do this. I know that I was slow yesterday (could just feel it, I also knew my suspension was real stiff from the trackday, which probably contributed to my lowside) I've run real close times to the motard guys every time I've been there except yesterday???? no excuses.... relenquish my winnings??? with the crashed parts, gas, hotel, and food.....and 10 hours driving for the fun of it! I'm making out like a bandit!!!!! just so you can have a buell winning. it was a 53:46, thank you. and I was behind by .001 before my final run. I set the bar at 53.61 and TJ tied that until you looked at the timing equipment. he had me by .001 another Great day in waterloo! THANX HD BUELL CYCLE CENTER | ||

OK everyone, mark June 6th on your calendars, make the trip to Waterloo after the BRAG event at Road America. We're fortune to have a VERY large area to put our BattleTrax event on, plenty of parking, nearby hotels, food gas, etc. Watch races on Satuday, go racin' on Sunday!! My .02... Ralph |
