Bubba, It's quite probable that I'll be unemployed come May15th. So, what are you doing mid May? I'd love to check out Dave's Open House and all the BWBers in person. Sounds like an unemployment party to me!

I'm walking out Monday AM. Got my eticket in hand and I'm done, finished, totally cooked. In some sick kind of way I'm excited by it too (that'll probably last until I miss that first paycheck ; ) .) Later.

Terry is getting pretty spoiled up there with his open house. Last year Willie G. rode up for the day. Now he gets Erik on-site and the pleasure/pain of a bunch of us Buellers...

Bigdaddy, unemployment isn't as bad as it seems while you're still working. It gave me time to have some corrective surgery that I've been putting off for a couple of years. I wish I could be there, as well.

Hey Crusty, Good to hear from you! Hope all is well. I'll for sure lose my current job the moment I jump on the plane Monday AM -- so be it because I'm leaving.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Time to go home.

Brian, I think you enjoy keeping yourself out there on the edge -- makes life more entertaining right? Just don't allow yourself to become one of the mindless sheep following the herd. That's one of the reasons I'm bailing on this gig. It's a secondary causation kind of thing. I guess never, ever, ever being home is the primary reason.

It's all good,,,,Later.

bigdaddy

se ya next week mister...you need a bag and a ride on an xb, you still ain't been on one.

I truely think you've made the ride decision.

and no I wish I wasn't out on the edge all the time. But like one of those bad comic superhero's

where theres stupidity and ignorance,I will try my best to find a solution, if that don't work I will expose it to the world and let the chips fall where the may.

I am just getting to old to watch it go down.

see ya soon

It's the "ride" decision for sure. I'd surely love to be at Daves big shindig and check things out. I've not been in the states, during prime/summer riding season in quite some time. Spending a few weeks saddle tramping may just be what the doctor has ordered.

Do we need passports to get that far north?

Two questions:

1) What time of day?

2) Anyone one know of stops between Janesville and Appleton to get race gas? I am too lazy to switch pistons.

No passport needed.

Open house is 9-4 Sat May 15th
I don't know about the race gas?

Snowdave. You may want to try and contact Hoban Brothers as they may be able to bring a five gallon can with them. Otherwise my brother-in-law said that there are three or four gas stations in town that sell race fuel as soon as stock car season opens. If I find out anything more I will let you know.

Mapquest says that the trip is around 140 mi one-way. I currently have the 4 gallon tank on and still get 40-50mpg. It would be close, but I could make it. If needed, I could limp along on high octane for a few miles. The stations that sell race gas here have not yet switched over from Kerosene. Thanks for checking.

Buy a camelback water bottle and fill it with some race gas. Kinda like an extra reserve...

I was in the Appleton dealership scheduling a tps reset on Thursday night the 8th and none of the techs or parts guys knew Eric is coming to the open house. I guess employees are the last to know.

Dave,
Gonna get a group (2 at least..) from Mn and head your way on the 15th.
Is a new Sporty rider allowed if he follows behind the Buells? (Just kidding, he's really looking forward to the trip.

Snowdave, I will check to see if my bud will have his new can of funny fuel in the garage, if he does, depending on what time you plan on riding through, I could prolly get you hooked up.

Glitch,
What was the mail?
If it was for an order,
I'll make sure it gets handled for you.

Bad,
What do you mean? You're the boss, give yourself the day off and come on up.
The apartment is ok, I am going to miss my wife and dogs though. Headed back to Waterloo as soon as I get off work on Sat. I'll drive back early Monday morning. Going to be that way for awhile.
I brought the Koolaid recipe with me.
Want some of the 15th?

Ride to the edge!
