Not to bad this morning, about 55 degrees & super sunny. Then all of a sudden the sky got dark, the winds picked up to about 25mph & the temp dropped about 12 degrees in 2 minutes.

Im in Kenosha..far southeastern corner.

Nasty assed weather, I was looking forward to riding a bit more than the whole 30 miles I managed to squeeze in.

Yeah,
I rode to work in Milwaukee today, at 7 am freezing my ass off and thinking "Won't the ride home be nice." Well instead I was treated to a terrifing ride from hell with suicide truck drivers and 40MPH wind gusts conspiring to blow me into them.

My ride went pretty good today, at lest untill I discovered that the two boxed pies that I had straped to the tail were upsidedown. (one Oreo, and one French silk)

LOL, I was riding around earlier & almost rode up to Milwaukee but instead I had a couple errands I was running & was planning on maybe 1:00 or so heading up. Stopped off at home for a bit & when I went back outside the temp had dropped & the wind was nutz. Made calling off the ride north real ez for me.

And Dough, I dont think it would hurt the Oreo..isnt all the creme on the inside like the cookie?: D But the french silk must have gotten messed up. Tell ya what, if they are in to bad of shape you can always drop em off by me & I will dispose of them for you.

Tell me about it. Rained out my ride test today, and I live in Vegas. Rained yesterday, weather man said was going to rain today to, but when I woke up this morning all the streets were dry and I thought cool, I think I'll get to do it, then about 10:00 it poured, test was at 10:40, stopped raining and was pretty much dry roads at 11:45-12:30. I swear, my karma is funked upped, must be all the ridinig without the endorsement......

I had a pretty nice day here in Indiana. The temps I believe in the high 50's low 60's. Although I was only able to ride around 50 miles it was still great.

The wind was really bad in Minneapolis today. I was almost knocked over at a stoplight! They said it was 55 degrees but it felt a lot colder than that. I managed to put on about 25 miles just puttering around close to home. Oh well, it's better than winter!

After a week of cold rain, It's FR$%^ng snowing again!! 2+ inchs of accumulation tonight. That means the salt truck are out, and even if it did get warm enough to ride, I'd have to wash the bike before letting it cool, in the dark & cold. Frassle rassle, I'm going down to Puxatawney & blow away that no good groundhog.

The Big Kid and I went to spend the night with my Dad in Farwell, MI, Friday night, weather was, OK, mosquitoes and such, kept up a good pace. Saturday my Dad was admitted to the hospital, so we stuck around a little longer than planned and those same dark clouds from Wisconsin came rolling in from the Northwest, we left for home and found ourselves in the middle of a horrible snowstorm. We had to stop three times in the 60 mile trip to get home. Its Monday and the tops of my hands are still cold.
