Hello all. Dave here *waving and passing out complimentary drinks to all*.

This is going to be the best of a long run for me. I have been riding quite awhile with CBRs, a 1985 V65 Magna, and a VT1100 thru the years, but I am finally home. I have long wanted a Buell, but by the time I made the money to afford one, the XB's were all that were avail. Don't get me wrong, they are exceptional machines. But I am a bigger guy (5'10" 255lbs) and dont quite fit the XBs that well.

I had long given up hope that finding the right piece of equipment was lost, till I found a bone stock, 9,000 miles 1998 S3T. I can't believe someone bought one of these things and didn't ride it.

I live in North Carolina, the land a Buell was made for. Boy, is it going to be a beutiful summer!

Welcome. You'll find a lot of info here. I've got an 02 S3T and love it. I'm your size also. Never tried an XB on for size.

Congrats man,
I've got a modified 97 S3T with 11,000 miles on it and I'm 6' and 245 pounds so I know how you feel about needing a little more space to be comfortable.

You'll love the bike. Mine has already proven to be a very forgiving and fun ride. Just get used to people twisting their necks around to gawk, and be prepared to answer a lot of questions.

JT

I live in Charlotte, but sell Haas CNC machines in South Carolina, make my way all over both states. Anyone going to the Myrtle Bike show? Should we make a BWB presance?
