It all started last week when I needed ciggarettes, nasty habit, should quit. I decided to take the bike to get them around the corner to the 7-11, I only take very short trips cause I still haven't finished gettting my endorsement in Nevada, my ride test is this saturday at 10:30 am, more on that later, but for now the ciggarettes. So I go to the 7-11 pay the man and calmly ride home, have a smoke and go to bed early. Wake up the next morning and can't find my wallet. Been 5 days and still can't find it, so now I gotta go to the DMV and get a new license and crap before this Saturday which wouldn't be a problem except I am one of those idiots who left his SS card in his wallet so now I got no real ID, no birth cirtificate, thats another tragic tale I'd rather not go into. So tommorow I'm taken a box load of crap to the DMV and praying hard a get a decent person who will see from the avalanche of paper work that I am actually who I am. So that problem is more or less solved when my buddy calls up and tells me he's gotta work next saturday so sorry can't ride with you to the test so, looks like my endorsement ride is hosed as well. I figure its a long shot but if anyone lives in Las Vegas and feels like helping a Bueller out with his test ride and is free around 10:00 am on Saturday, April 3rd well email me and it could be worth a few cold ones or whatever is your equivilant rate.

Just ride your bike yourself to take the test. That is what I did.

Yeah, it gives you more insperation to pass, otherwise they won't let you ride home... Just kidding. Losing all three forms of ID really sucks... Now would be a good time to assume a new identity. You could become... Batman!

Got my ID taken care of last night and someone at work looks like they have a friend who will be more than happy to help me out with the bike on Saturday, as long as he gets to take the S1 for a ride. : )

Yes, Little things do add up!
A little thing to add that will be positive would be an MSF class. Instead of the taking the DMV test, take the MSF class. It's fun, it will automatically earn you a motorcycle endorsement (if you pass), and you will learn something. Even if you go the DMV test route, don't let that be an excuse not to take the class. I had been riding for more than 30 years when I took my first MSF class and only wished it had been available in 1965 when I started riding. I have taken the "Beginners" and "Advanced" both twice. They really help you knock down Battletrax times. Take a class. You won't be sorry.

Yeah, I would of done that, but since I live in Vegas the options for the class are as follows.

1. The community college course which is great, but also always absolutely full...I think they have one class every couple of months.

2. Harley - I want to do this but can't swing the $350.00 it cost.

DMV works for now.
