I guess I didn't tighten down the screws tight enough today after cleaning the K&N filter, about 60 miles into a ride tonight I felt something hit my right leg, which is usually not a good thing, looked down an the air filter and cover were gone... Stopped, searched, found nothing...

So, my question is should I try and locate another Pro Race Air Filter kit? Or would I get just as good results with a Forcewinder, I have the entire Pro Race kit installed on my 2002 M2, but have always liked the looks of the Forcewinders...

I have a forcewinder and love it. I think they look a little more agressive, but most of all give my kneww a little more clearance.

Go by that stretch of road during Daylight hours. You stand a much better chance of finding the cover and filter. Finding the cover would be better than buying another Filter assembly.
