Ted, for my own selfish reasons I've not wished you well yet, but hey, I'm adjusted now LOL. I have thought about your well being often these past few days and it's great to see that you've made it thus far. It's a long haul bro' but the rewards are worth it. Trust me, I know hospital food sucks, but sexy nurses are good for the soul, and what better place to find 'em, hospital. As for trikes, here's a great site. The Trike Shop, UK, build some awesome stuff. They've done an X1 too! Heal well. Rocket

So Ted... if you get bored and are feeling up to doing some work online... let me know. Last guy that got laid up from a bike crash was similarly shanghai'd into some really gut wrenching work on BadWeB. I have absolutely no qualms about taking advantage of the suffering. Darn good to see you posting and having a positive attitude. You da man. There is no doubt that no matter how your body comes out of this ordeal, you will continue to do well and prosper and live a happy life... no doubt whatsoever. Thanks for reminding us all of what is really important. You too Bubba. |

heres the address Shepherd Center 2020 Peachtree Rd NW Atlanta,GA 30309-1402 rm # 202D fill his room up with cards and letters. Ted ask not to give the phone number out just yet because his strength just ain't quite there yet. I am sure at some point he will give it out. but send everything you want and if you want to visit he says the weekends are the best. during the week they are pretty well kicking his ass. and he does like cards and letters. BTW heres the fund update and Trust me I am over whelmed and everytime I tell tedhe is also and he is thankful and you will all be thank someday by him I am sure, as of today we are at $8900.00 and some change. The intial goal was $6k so we have surpassed that. I guess you could say the rebuilding of teds bike fund has begun. That may mean the first XB trike. Like most of us me included, he only had liabilty on the bike, so we will rebuild it and take i from there. The bike actually ain't half bad as it didn't go down the hill. obvious is frame replacement and cosmetic stuff, you know scratches and the like, probably the swing arm from scratches to. and of course they will be no labor charge and we can probably get a deal on parts, wink wink. so there ya go. I want to thank all of you because my faith has been restored in atleast part of the human race. I never thought this much would be raised this quick. And I hope now we can get another 3k all the way to 12 k so we can get this bike rebuilt and if need be turned into a trike. Me and spooky and Joe are going to road trip to atlanta this weekend to see our boy ted. I will fill ya all in on the nurses that he says are so cute. If they ain't we will know the drugs have a hold of him again thank you all so much Brian I am my brothers keeper |

Bubba; do you know if Ted has any special reading interests? Particular books, magazines? I realize he may not be up for "heavy" stuff right now, but maybe later. Henrik |

Had my meeting w/doctor today. There is about a 25% chance of being able to walk, better than nothing. They want to send me home for a few weeks for my shoulder to heal. That way I won't eat up my insurance and I will be able to use shoulder when I get back. I need some ramps set up. I saw my shoulder x-ray, really large fracture. The back was really bad, rods in my back make me look like Wolverine from the X-men. Smashed my t11/12 real good. Should get more feeling below waiste in time. And I will be able to have sex! |

Gotta remember that those doctors all always giving you worst case scenario stuff,so 25% in a young strong(and suitably stubborn and motivated)fellow means you WILL be walking again--and riding!!!Just don't take no for an answer. |

Ted- Jim is spot on about the doctor thing, 25% is a number low enough to cover their ass but high enough to let you know that it will happen. make no mistake about it brother, it WILL happen. then again, if you can have sex, and dont have to do any of the work,........ |
