Went to lowes today and walking out spotted this monster stainless toolbox. Upon closer inspection I see it has a stereo and built in fridge! Yeah, they have that right in the aisle at my local lowes that they built here last year literally in my back yard. Talk about a fat kid and a candy store. Every time I walk past it I think of the scene in Wayne's World where he stops the car and drools over the guitar. "It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine". | ||

i had to do a double take to notice the speakers the other day but i didn't notice the frig. even if my wife is gonna be starting work at lowes in the next day or so, there is no way i could justify buying something like that no matter what the cost is. i have to go with mr_grumpy on this one. | ||

craftsman has one that is similar to the one in the link. not my cup of tea, but to each their own I suppose. My buddy worked at a bar that went out of business. the owner gave each employee a "going away present". my buddy got a fridge that looks EXACTLY like a roll around craftsman tool box. drawer fronts and all. Having just lost his job he needed some money, so I bought it from him for $160. it's my garage beer fridge now. cant tell ya how many times I've asked someone new to my garage to grab me a tool out of a drawer and they pull on the drawer and the whole front swings open and there's nothing but beer to be seen. lol,, it sits directly next to my 5 and a half ft tall snapon krl box. lol it's even better when I ask em to grab me a beer and they look around for a fridge for 10 minutes. |
