Coming back from Germany last week with Madame's RV we stopped at a sevice station in Holland where I spotted this.
Really nice guy riding it, built it himself. his site, www.cbx-inox.com I'll put up more pics & info when I get more time. |

If you spend some time on the website, you'd be amazed at how well documented he kept the build. The detailed pictures and explanations are incredible! |

Love the pipes, really love the tool he made for frame polishing, but I can't say I'm a fan of the frame itself. At least he didn't cram that beautiful motor into a bodged hardtail chopper frame! |

Like it or not,you have to appreciate the work and dedication this project entailed. And he rides it. . . . . for the record I do (Message edited by wheelybueller on August 22, 2009) |

Love it. I always loved those CBXs. I rode my cousins and was surprised how little power it made though. Only slightly more power than the CB 750s I had. |

I like the handlebars and front end. The rest doesn't work for me at all. |

For the most part that is a cool bike but whats with the seat? is it a pride thing having no cushion or what? |

Right, I've got some time. He says the seat isn't that bad as most of his weight is on his feet riding it, but he works out just so he can ride it. Has to work hard on his hands too as the bars are so smooth it's hard to hold on to. You'll notice NO switches, it's all touch control & the only way you know where they are is very faint dot punch marks. Also no mirrors, the little black square on the tank is an lcd screen with 2 cameras under the seat next to the rear light. Wheels & forks are gixxer. He gave it a handfull leaving the service station & I can tell you it sounds absolutely f****** awesome too. I was blown away by the quality of the workmanship, I wouldn't want to ride it myself but it's a big hats off to Otto. I've got some more pics, but wifey had been fiddling with the camera & the quality is frankly, crap. much better to look at the ones on his site. We stood & talked bikes for 10-15 mins till he had to get going, a really nice guy, no airs & graces at all. Well done Otto. |
