Seen portions of this before, but now with Hulu I've seen it all.. Man those riders were tough. Join us and watch this classic and sit back and appreciate the riders of yesterday. : )

I saw On Any Sunday when it was released in theaters.
That movie was one of my inspirations growing up.
Much to my Mom's displeasure.
She also hated it when Evel Knievel came out.
I was already riding back then, but, not because my Mom had anything to do with it!

OK - old fart comment warning:

When On Any Sunday first came out, we rode our bikes from El Mirage out to the theatre in Victorville where it was playing.

441 Victor BSA back then.

Those kids in the opening sequence today are older than Jay Springsteen - considered to be an "old guy" racing flat track today.

I still watch it at least once a year (Endless Summer, too - had a 6'8" Jacobs back in the day as well)

Damn you are old! ; )
I couldn't ride my bike to the theater.
I had a Honda Mini-Trail back then

In those days I had a Triumph T100 (500cc with the high pipes). My roommate had what he called a 441 Victim. It was a great bike, talk about thumper.

I watch On Any Sunday about once a year to refresh my mind on why I do what I do.

I really like the show, the desert races look so awesome! And so many people, do they still do those? That would be a lot of fun to do!

Apologies, The title to this thread is all jacked up like I was last night, I don't think I can fix it...maybe a mod can help me?

On Any Sunday II is just as good and # III makes you feel old if you were an enthusiast at the time when the first one came out.
