Such big deals start out so easily sometimes.
Just 4 inches caused all that trouble. Pretty good tale though!

All you need to ride a full dresser (or think you can) is a H-D tshirt. Not exactly a beginners bike. That paved turn off is wide enough to turn a truck & trailer around in. He must not have the theory of turning around if he needed another 4" of real estate to turn his "BADASS" dresser around in. WTF was he doing that close to the edge anyway?
That's besides the point, at least you're ok and didn't end up with injuries. That whole situation could've turned real sour on you. You're a bigger man than I am, I don't know if I would've had the patience/heart to help right a guy who damn near let his bike drown me. Good photos!!!

I didn't read any other the following comments, but I am curious if they attempted to start it?

A hydro-locked cylinder would have been icing on the cake.

corporatemonkey,

Later in the thread it says the bike was destroyed by the tow truck dragging it up the rocks out of the water.

My guess is the guy was watching the edge instead of turning his head. I almost hit a bucket in my driveway turning around. Watching the bucket and I kept getting closer to it. Turned my head a little and looked clear of the bucket and went right by it.
