Wow I can't believe it. In the few dealings I had with these guys they have always been great.

It is true, only the good die young.

RIP Richard

Brian,
Jenn and I don't know what to say. Like Brad said, it seems like yesterday I picked him up at the SLC airport, and promptly made him wait around in the rental mini-van while we hunted for a Z rated 19 (18) inch front tire for Woz's rat bike.
I can still hear your voice answering his cell phone "Richard Nallin fan club"
We all were and are members of that club. Life is precious, and short, and I think Richard understood that better than most. He rode it like he stole it.
Godspeed and peace.
David

From Sean:

Brian my heart goes out to you mate. I really feel for you. I never had a brother but my two sisters mean the world to me. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through. So terribly sorry Brian. So terribly sorry.

Condolences to you and your family. I lost a brother many years ago, and I know what that is like.

I hate hearing about a fellow rider going down. I didn't know Richard, but this is the poem I think of when someone like him passes on.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

Robert Frost

The whole Nallin family has my sympathy.

Bill

Terrible news. I only met Richard and Brian once, at Bonneville, but immediately felt like we were old friends.

Godspeed, Richard.

Brian, my thoughts are with you.

I keep re-visiting this thread hoping to find something to say.

With the ream of bad news and unfortunate losses we have had as a community as of late it all seems unfair.

I never met or knew Brian in person, but he much like anyone on this board and in this selective community we call Buell he had felt like a friend from all the previous posts, and news I have read over the years.

I wish all his family the best and offer my deepest sympathies...

Not that it would change anything but I have Googled, Binged and MSN searched and can't find anything published on the crash.

Blake or Brian do you have any details surrounding his death?

Passenger pegs down. Time to go riding.

Life is too short, for the young or old. Cherish each day and live each moment, we may not have the next one to live like we hoped.

God speed Richard.
