I have been looking a the 1125CR since they came out. I have been trying to hold out till next year but....you know how it goes. I traded the wife's street glide on the CR!
The dog house is remarkably comfortable !!

Anybody need a XB12R http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 486427.html?1249870833

Does this mean you are going to meet me in Dalton next Saturday for a proper "get acquainted with the new bike" ride?

LOL, did she know you were trading in HER bike beforehand?

BTW, I work in Calhoun.... you're relatively close by!

"It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" ; )

Congrats on the new bike. Pics? How long do you expect to be in the doghouse!? lol : )

I have yet to succumb to my desire for an 1125CR, but will be test riding one in the next few weeks I hope...

COngrats on the CR - I'd love to have one. I saw your bike on Atlanta Craigslist last week .... now I know why .... : )

Did any of the local dealers give you a deal? I was at the BIke show a couple of weeks ago and Earl Small said they would throw in the high bars on a CR for free if I wanted one.

I kind of told her I was going to trade her bike. Actually we had her bike for sale since it has only been out of the garage 2 times since she got a xb12scg in Feb. I told her Friday I might ride down to the harley place after work and "just see" if they would be interested. She just looked at me and did not say anything..so as all married men know that means "go ahead if you want to"
She actually let me back in the house Sunday since I promised to sell the xb, but I did get to spend some quality time in the garage with the new CR
Don't have any pics yet, just a stock lobster red 1125CR. I have the high bars on the way , they did not have them in stock.

Hey Steve, I want to come on the ride Saturday too...I'll be the one on the Lightning - since I DON'T HAVE A GLIDE ANYMORE!!!
Yeah that dog house is comfortable - from years of breaking in. He looked real sad about it while he sat on his lobster too. LOL

How could you want the high bars? They are for old men that mistakenly bought the CR instead of a Uly.

I am starting to get to the old end of the timline, so I am going to go half and half . fast bike and comfortable bars. Sometimes it's not the years , it's the miles. If I had only had known about that when I was 18

Hey Mindi, It would be great to have you join us for a ride. You probably need to keep an eye on Rick for a few miles anyway because he will definitely be tempted to "act up". Nothing personal Rick, I just remember how I was when I first got my R.
For any and all who would like to ride Saturday, meet me at the Longhorn Steakhouse on Walnut Ave. in Dalton, GA, 10:00am
